The great Broadway classic returns to the prestigious Sadler's Wells Theatre in London from 7th August until 22nd September 2013.
Already back in 2008 and at the same theatre, the guest show with the 50-year anniversary production was a huge success with audiences and critics. Bernstein is considered one of the most influential conductors and composers of the twentieth century; he conducted some of the best orchestras in the world, including the New York and the Vienna Philharmonic and his numerous recordings are still praised as music milestones.

The film version of WEST SIDE STORY won ten Academy Awards, including Best Film. This summer, enjoy director and choreographer Joey McKneely’s vibrant production. McKneely, famous in Broadway and worldwide, has worked with Jerome Robbins and is presenting his original choreography as fresh as it was on the day of its premiere. The young performers, all cast in New York, interpret the show with stunning energy and technical brilliance, delivering high-class acting and musical performances.
